Carnival Corp. gets US govt. approval for cruises to Cuba

Washington, July 7, (RHC), – Carnival Corp., the world’s largest cruise ship company announced Tuesday that it had received approval from the U.S. government to operate cruises to Cuba, as a provider of cultural exchange programs.

Officials with Carnival say the company is planning to start operating week long Cuban itineraries in May of 2016 using a 710-passenger vessel.
