Havana, November 6 (RHC)-- France's State Secretary for Foreign Trade Matthias Fekl is paying a two-day visit to Cuba heading a business mission to Havana's International Trade Fair.

The French minister will meet with Cuban government officials, inaugurate the commercial pavilion at the fair and tour Havana's Genetic and Biotechnology Center as part of his agenda on the island, according to an official statement, cited by Prensa Latina news agency.

Six months after the official visit here by French President Francois Hollande, the foreign trade minister's agenda will boost the development of bilateral relations, according to the statement.

During an official visit to France in July, Cuban Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca pointed to the potential shared by his country and France to develop commercial relations.
