What we feared has finally come to pass. After the genocide in the Gaza Strip, the targeted attacks and assassinations in other countries in the region, the escalation of the war against Iran -- in short, Israel's criminal rampage -- now comes the U.S. bombing of three facilities for the peaceful purposes of nuclear energy on Iranian soil, like a fateful imperialist incursion.

Arrogant and obscene, President Trump boasts of the effectiveness of his army and the coup de force he has wielded on the international stage.  It seems he is unaware that this spiral of violence could lead not to the "Pax Americana" he desires, but to a veritable apocalypse.

From the Network for the Defense of Humanity, we endorse the words of Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez: "Peace through strength is an imperialist doctrine that seeks to impose terror, armaments, and global destabilization as a means of sustaining the hegemonic collapse of the United States.  It is based on the idea that whoever has the strength has the reason."

Fascism is the enemy of democracy and any civilized form of human coexistence.  Trump and Netanyahu are its contemporary expressions.

Faced with this alarming turn of events, we condemn the attacks that portend an even greater escalation and call for the resumption of negotiations so that any disagreement can be resolved through dialogue and a confrontation with unpredictable consequences can be avoided.

We call on the peoples of the world to mobilize for peace!

Stop the warmongering aggression against Iran and the occupation of Palestine!
