Havana, July 20 (RHC) - Cubans Noslen Diaz and Jorge Luis Alayo will face, this Sunday, the hosts Oleg Stoyanovsky-Ilya Leshukov, now for the Russian Beach Volleyball Cup 2025, which takes place in St. Petersburg.

On the same day, in the quarterfinals, they overcame other well-known rivals who had played twice at the Moscow Open: the experienced Vyacheslav Krasilnikov (World and Olympic medalist) and the 19-year-old Vladislav Reison (Dynamo), also in a close match that went to tie-break (21-18, 17-21, 18-16).
To reach the round of 16, on Friday, they had to win 2-1 (21-11, 11-21, 15-9) against the Evert-Martynenko pairing. The pass to the quarterfinals was secured with a 21-13 and 21-14 sweep over Fedorenko-Kosenko.
The Cuban Olympic pair is preparing for the World Championship in Adelaide, from November 14 to 23.
