Havana, Feb 20 (RHC) Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade Rodrigo Malmierca arrived in Colombia on an official visit to strengthen trade, cooperation, and brotherhood ties between the two countries.
Malmierca will carry out an extensive agenda that includes an official meeting with the head of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism German Umaña, and other authorities of that portfolio, as well as the National Institute of Food and Drug Surveillance (Invima).
During his stay in this nation, he will hold a meeting with Carmen Caballero, president of Procolombia, the government agency in charge of promoting Colombian exports, international tourism, and foreign investment in this South American country.
The Cuban minister will also meet with authorities of Bancóldex, the development bank for business growth in Colombia.
Likewise, the minister will hold a dialogue with businessmen of this country to promote the Portfolio of Foreign Investment Projects with emphasis on the Biopharmaceutical sector.
He will also meet with executives of the Colombian Federation of Cattle Raisers, the National Association of Colombian Businessmen, Analdes, a leading company in the timber industry, the Colombian Farmers' Society, the Colombian Agricultural Institute, and the INVIMA health authority.
The minister will participate in the inauguration of the 42nd edition of the Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies, ANATO 2023, considered the most important tourism event in Colombia (Source: Prensa Latina).
