Havana, November 11 (RHC) – The Cuban national football team was fully assembled today with all the players called up for the 2025-2026 Concacaf Friendly Cup, scheduled to take place in this city.
Wasting no time, they took advantage of the morning session to train ahead of their debut against Saint Lucia in the new tournament.
Head coach Pedro Pablo Pereira emphasized defensive organization and transitions during the short training period, which also took into account the recovery of players who had traveled, some on long journeys, to reach the Caribbean island.
Order and commitment were the most frequently heard words in the Villa Clara native’s tactical talk, as he instilled confidence in his players while demanding maximum effort from them to achieve positive results.
The Cuban team will face their counterparts from Saint Lucia this Tuesday at 3:00 p.m., Cuban time.
