U.S. organizations in solidarity with Cuba launch medical aid/relief fund for Cuba after Hurricane Melissa

The Saving Lives Committee, which organized the shipment of syringes, anesthesia machines, pacemakers, and sutures to Cuba during the COVID-19 pandemic, has just decided to organize a fundraising campaign through the Pan American Medical Committee, coordinated by Uriel Ramírez, an ELAM graduate.

The money will be used to purchase necessary painkillers, vitamins, water purification tablets and diuretics.

The aid will be sent directly to Not Just Tourists in Orange County, California, to prepare the pallets that will be shipped in containers to Cuba in early December.
