Cuba has denounced the occupation of Palestinian territories of the West Bank and East Jerusalem, and described the Zionist regime’s attempt to hinder the creation of an independent Palestinian state as “desperate.”
“We denounce current Israeli settlement expansion plans in the Palestinian territories of the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The Israeli regime is seeking to redraw Palestinian geography in a desperate attempt to hinder the creation of an independent Palestinian state, announced Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez.
The government of Benjamin Netanyahu recently announced a settlement project in the occupied West Bank that would divide the territory in two and disrupt efforts by the international community to create a future Palestinian state.
