Havana, January 15 (RHC) – Atletico Madrid football club today extended Argentine Giuliano Simeone’s contract for two seasons until June 2030.
The 23-year-old South American is an undisputed starter for Atlético Madrid after returning in the summer of 2024, and in 77 appearances, he has accumulated eight goals and 16 assists.
The forward has worn the Atlético shirt since joining the Academy in 2019 and, before becoming part of the first team, had two loan spells at Real Zaragoza (2022-2023) and Deportivo Alavés (2023-2024).
The son of former footballer and coach Diego Simeone, the Argentine international’s contract was set to expire in 2028, and he is currently a fan favorite due to his versatility as a player.
