by Javier Perez Jimenez

Havana, September 27 (RHC) – Legends of Spanish teams Real Madrid and Barcelona will play in El Salvador on November 8, the organizers announced today.

The Jorge “Mágico” González National Stadium will host players who made history in the ranks of the two most bitter rivals in Spanish football, such as former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas and Barcelona defender and former captain Carles Puyol, both of whom are mentioned in promotional videos.

Fun Capital announced the match with a phrase that stirs nostalgia among fans: “What you once saw on TV… now you’ll see on the field. A unique opportunity that won’t come back.”

The roster for those who will grace the pitch at the stadium named after Jorge “Mágico” González, a Salvadoran who made history in Spanish football. He played for Cádiz CF and Real Valladolid in Spain.

The match promises to revive one of the most-watched classics in world football, but this time on Salvadoran soil, with the magic of those who made history at both clubs, local media highlighted this Saturday.
