Barcelona Regains Top Spot in Spanish Football League

Havana, February 22 (RHC) – Barcelona regained the top spot in the Spanish football league today, with a 3-0 victory over Levante in matchday 25.

Goals from Marc Bernal in the fourth minute, Frenkie de Jong in the 32nd, and Fermín López in the 81st returned Barcelona to the top of the table with 61 points, one point ahead of Real Madrid, who were defeated 1-2 by Osasuna on Saturday.

In other Sunday matches, Sevilla beat Getafe 1-0 with a goal from Togolese striker Djené Dakoman in the 26th minute, and Celta Vigo edged out Mallorca 2-0 thanks to a brace from Iago Aspas (85th and 90+5), the first goal coming from the penalty spot.
