For more than sixty years, Washington has deployed its economic and technological power with the purpose of dismantling the Cuban economy, he stated.
The policy of aggression includes coercive measures in various international arenas, with the objective of provoking a collapse in the Caribbean nation.
The U.S. official fears Cuba’s example of independence and resistance, which has achieved recognized levels in health, education, culture, sports, and scientific development.
Bruno Rodríguez emphasized that the practice of solidarity on a broad scale and the country’s international prestige are factors that explain the persistence of Washington’s hostility.
