Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez highlighted on Tuesday his meeting with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, during which he denounced the United States’ hostility toward his country.

“Great satisfaction at holding another exchange with Volker Türk, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.”

On his X account, the head of Cuban diplomacy also stated that he appreciated “the state of relations between his Office and Cuba, as well as the respectful and constructive atmosphere that exists, which demonstrates the possibility of making progress on issues of common interest.”

“I denounced the US plan to provoke a humanitarian catastrophe in our country through an energy blockade,” the Caribbean nation’s Foreign Minister emphasized.

Cuba Has Friends

David Wade February 24, 2026 - 16:15

Yes. Cuba has lots of friends and many in “high places”. The current actions by the Zionist-controlled US government are nothing more than the dying gasps of an Empire that has been bankrupted by Zionist-controlled politicians in Washington, DZ (District of Zionism). The current US national debt of $38.7 TRILLION, the highest in the world, will soon lead to economic collapse and implosion of the Empire. US President Ronald Dump may be the last of the war criminals to occupy his office, before the whole US government house-of-cards is discarded on the trash pile of history. Adios and good riddance.
