Cuba does not receive, nor has it ever received, monetary or material compensation for security services provided to any country.
Unlike the U.S., we do not have a government that engages in mercenary activity, blackmail, or military coercion against other states.
Like every country, Cuba has the absolute right to import fuel from those markets willing to export it and that exercise their right to develop their trade relations without interference or subordination to unilateral coercive measures by the U.S.
Law and justice are on Cuba’s side. The U.S. behaves like a criminal and unchecked hegemon that threatens peace and security, not only in Cuba and this hemisphere, but throughout the world.
