The figure of Fidel Castro Ruz was once again honored by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) through a photographic exhibition installed at the Center that bears the name of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, in Havana.

The exhibition is part of the activities commemorating the 65th anniversary of ICAP and pays tribute to the historical leader of the Revolution, highlighting his role in building Cuba’s international solidarity.

The exhibition references the spirit of solidarity of the Caribbean nation and the work of its main driving force. The opening was attended by 250 representatives from 32 countries, who shared in the tribute.

Noemí Rabasa, First Vice President of ICAP, emphasized the legacy of the leader who fostered an international network of support for Cuba and transformed fraternity among nations into a key foundation of the Revolution.

“The images,” Rabasa explained, “reveal the essence of ‘people-to-people’ diplomacy, championed by the Commander-in-Chief, who engaged in dialogue with world leaders, intellectuals, and, above all, with ordinary people inspired by the example of resistance of the Cuban revolutionary process.”

During the ceremony, journalist Ileana García presented her book, *The Solidarity of the Peoples Always with Cuba*. According to ICAP President Fernando González, the book “is a faithful testament to Fidel’s legacy in building a diplomacy based on solidarity among peoples.”
