Havana, March 1 (RHC) – Manchester United came from behind today at their Old Trafford ground to beat Crystal Palace 2-1 in the 28th round of the English Premier League.
With that result, United reached 51 points (the same as Aston Villa), only behind City (59) and league leaders Arsenal (61), who play Chelsea (45) today.
The visitors took control of the match just four minutes after kickoff when Brennan Johnson crossed into the box and Maxence Lacroix headed the ball into the back of the net.
Lacroix received a red card in the 56th minute, and the Red Devils leveled the score with a well-taken penalty by Bruno Fernandes.
With a numerical advantage, Michael Carrick’s men, Europa League runners-up, secured the decisive lead in the 65th minute thanks to a header from Benjamin Sesko, assisted by Fernandes.
On this matchday, Fulham beat Tottenham 2-1, and Brighton defeated Nottingham Forest by the same scoreline.
