Minister Cabello affirms that government supporters and opposition members are willing to move the country forward

The Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, asserted on his weekly program “Con el Mazo Dando” that Chavistas and some opposition members who love their country are willing to move the country forward.

“Some opposition members who love their country and condemn any attack against their homeland without hesitation or hypocrisy, who have maintained a firm stance of rejection of what has happened—we know them and we know who they are,” stated Cabello, who is also the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

Cabello emphasized that they understand the only way to move this country forward is through unity. He added that Venezuelans living abroad who called for the bombing of Venezuela “don’t care about their families, their children, or their daughters; they are despicable.”

The Secretary General of the PSUV, @dcabellor, stated that the extreme right believes they can gain the recognition of the Venezuelan people by groveling, which he described as despicable.

He noted that the Venezuelan people are gradually emerging from the situation stemming from the US attack of January 3rd and the kidnapping of President Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, with the morale and strength that characterize them.

“Commander Hugo Chávez always taught us how to rise again,” said the Secretary General of the PSUV.

The Venezuelan minister stated that the kidnapping of the President and the First Lady was a hard blow for the country, “even for people who have nothing to do with the Bolivarian Revolution.”

He denounces “media campaigns” to create divisions in Venezuela. Diosdado Cabello criticized what he called “media campaigns” on his program, aimed at generating disinformation and divisions within the country.

Cabello maintained that these campaigns not only seek to repeat lies, but their sole purpose is to sow discord among the Venezuelan population.

The minister blamed certain sectors of the opposition for holding events harmful to the country and for trying to negatively influence public perception, an accusation he called “disgusting” and “shameful.”

Cabello emphasized that the Bolivarian Revolution, led by interim president Delcy Rodríguez, remains strong and ensures that the country will advance through its own efforts, without depending on external influences.
