President Miguel Díaz-Canel has urged Cubans to continue working together and united throughout 2026, the year in which the Caribbean nation celebrates the 67th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.
Through his Twitter account, the president urged citizens to “Celebrate the lives saved and the impossible overcome in 2025. Let us welcome 2026 aware that by working together and united, we grow,” he wrote.
Miguel Diaz-Canel also emphasized that “the Revolution is one, with its achievements and shortcomings, its joys and its anxieties. The most important thing will continue to be #Cuba, and the unity that defines and saves us.”
“May every law, every plan, and every budget translate into tangible actions in people’s lives. May science and innovation translate into concrete solutions. May the economy regain its vitality without sacrificing social justice.”
