Havana, October 29 (RHC) – Roma tied on points with Napoli at the top of the Italian football league, after beating Parma on the ninth matchday.
The capital club secured its seventh victory of the season with goals from Spaniard Mario Hermoso Canseco in the 63rd minute and Ukrainian Artem Dovbyk in the 81st. Alessandro Circati scored for the visitors in the 86th minute.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s side reached 21 points, a similar tally to Napoli, who defeated Lecce 1-0 on Tuesday. However, Juventus has a better goal difference (+8 to +6).
Juventus provisionally climbed to seventh place with a 3-1 win over Udinese. Dusan Vlahovic scored a penalty in the fifth minute, followed by Federico Gatti in the 67th, and Kenan Yildiz in the 90+6 penalty. Nicolò Zaniolo scored for Udinese in stoppage time (45+1).
In another match of the day, Como beat Hellas Verona 3-1 thanks to the conquests of the Greek Anastasios Douvikas (9th minute), the Austrian Stefan Posch (62nd minute), and the Kosovar Mergim Vojvoda (90+2).
