Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has denounced that the United States government wants to steal the world’s largest oil reserves and is therefore waging a multifaceted war against the South American country.

Along those lines, he reflected that if “Venezuela didn’t have 30 million hectares of arable land, it wouldn’t be where it is, nor would it have the glorious history of Bolívar, nor the world’s largest oil reserves and the fourth largest gas reserves, perhaps it wouldn’t even be mentioned.”
Likewise, during his address, President Maduro stated that Washington wants to impose an agenda of military threats and psychological warfare.
“Today we are living through one of those chapters; it is not the first, but neither will it be the last. It is a chapter in a victorious history that we have lived. The Venezuelan people will continue building their democratic model, with full freedoms and resolving our affairs with autonomy and sovereignty, without yielding an iota of dignity as a historical people,” the president emphasized.
He also specified that “our Latin American and Caribbean brothers and sisters must know that our struggle for the right to independence, sovereignty, and peace in Venezuela is the struggle for all of our America, and our victory will be the victory of all of Our America.” “Peace against imperial lies.”
President Maduro called for a major gathering of social movements, political forces, and parliamentarians before the end of the year “to proclaim peace and respect for the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean; respect for Colombia, Venezuela, and countries throughout the region.”
The head of state also noted that Venezuela has received love, solidarity, and “true support from the forces that represent the heart of Latin America and the Caribbean. These people of Latin America and the Caribbean are present when it comes to defending sovereignty and independence.”
“The supremacists are coming to save us,” the Venezuelan president ironically remarked, recounting the impact of U.S. interventions on the continent.
Nicolás Maduro stated that “they want to impose a narrative on us. Today they have chosen an extravagant one. The United States’ narrative against Venezuela is slanderous.”
Meanwhile, mentioning the interventions in Haiti by international organizations and the United States, Maduro stated that “our Haiti, a martyr, has been dismembered by more than 100 US military interventions to punish it for being the first republic liberated by Black Jacobins.”
In August, Washington deployed warships, a nuclear submarine, fighter jets, and special forces off the Venezuelan coast under the pretext of “combating drug trafficking.”
Since then, there have been bombings against vessels allegedly linked to drug trafficking in the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean, which have left at least 57 people dead. murdered.
In this context, the Bolivarian Government has denounced that Venezuela is the victim of “a multifaceted war orchestrated by the United States,” with the aim of imposing “regime change and a puppet government.”
