Havana, October 25 (RHC) – Today, Villarreal defeated Valencia 2-0 away at Mestalla and regained third place in the Spanish League standings.

Marcelino García Toral’s team went into the break with a minimal advantage, thanks to Gerard Moreno’s penalty in the 45th minute.

In the 57th minute, Santi Comesaña fired the ball into the back of the net to increase the lead and seal the match against a home team currently in fourteenth place with just nine points.
