The United States' collaborative attitude towards Israel is exemplified by both Democrats and Republicans, with Marco Rubio standing out during Donald Trump's term in office.
The US Secretary of State is complicit in the genocide perpetrated by the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people, as Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez has stressed on social networks.
The Antillean country's head of diplomacy denounced Rubio's criticisms of the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees in Palestine, which is the mainstay of bringing humanitarian assistance to Gaza, despite Israel's attempts to thwart this process.
The Cuban foreign Minister's remarks are supported by evidence, given that US politicians openly express their support for Tel Aviv.
This is despite the fact that it has killed more than 54,000 Palestinians and injured 123,000 more since it began its aggression against Gaza in October 2023.
One of the reasons U.S. officials have deployed relief to the Hebrew state is the lobbying work of pro-Israeli pressure groups.
Several of these groups influence the US legislative branch, from which former Senator Marco Rubio hails.
An audio file leaked to the website The Grayzone described the privileged access that the AIPAC organisation has to the current US Secretary of State, the Director of Homeland Security, Mike Waltz, and the Director of the CIA, John Ratcliffe.
According to Wikipedia, AIPAC is a lobbying group that works with Congress and the White House to strengthen the close relationship between Washington and Tel Aviv.
AIPAC's executive director, Elliot Brandt, claimed that his group had trained the aforementioned officials during their congressional campaigns and had provided them with funding from pro-Israel donors to ensure their loyalty.
Like the Democrats before them, Rubio and others in the current administration reject the idea that establishing an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital is the only way to resolve the Palestinian conflict.
In another indication of the US Secretary of State's attachment to Israeli policies, Marco Rubio criticised those who condemned Tel Aviv's war of extermination in Gaza, which is seen as a blow to freedom of expression.
Rubio will also block visas for individuals who question Israel's policies, under the pretext of combating anti-Semitism, effectively branding all those who contest the massacres in Palestine.
