Havana, June 11 (RHC) - Cuban rowers who have qualified for the 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Asunción will travel to the Hanabanilla Dam in Villa Clara, where they will continue their preparation for the most important sporting event of the year for national sport: the 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Asunción.

The president of the Cuban Rowing Federation, Ángel Luis García, emphasized that they arrive in optimal condition and without injuries, which will allow for intense training focused on reaching the highest competitive level.

Among the members of this group are Roberto Carlos Paz, Leduar Suárez, Adel Gutiérrez, and Henry Yoan Heredia, who recently won the silver medal at the Moscow Grand Rowing Regatta in the quadruple sculls (4x) event.

Cuba has secured nine spots for Asunción 2025. There, the men will also compete in the single scull (1x), double scull (2x), coxless pair (2-), and coxless four (4-), while the women will compete in the single scull (1x), double scull (2x), and quadruple scull (4x).

Expectations are high, and the Cuban team aims to establish itself among the best in the region in this demanding competition.
