Gaza City, April 15 (RHC)-- According to data from a cluster of organizations working on education in humanitarian crises, 70 percent of schools in Gaza have been hit directly by attacks. Nearly 90 percent of schools in Gaza need significant rehabilitation or reconstruction.
And among the schools in need of repair or rebuilding are 162 UNRWA-operated schools in Gaza, which once provided education to hundreds of thousands of Palestinian children, the organization said.
