Washington, July 1 (RHC)-- U.S. President Donald Trump will host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House next Monday, the Associated Press reported, citing two U.S. government officials.

The meeting between the two partners in crime -- including genocide and crimes against humanity -- has not been officially announced.

According to an Israeli official in Washington, who also commented on the meeting, the talks will focus on Iran, Gaza, Syria and what he called "other regional challenges."

This is the first meeting the two leaders will hold since the ceasefire amid the escalating conflict between Tel Aviv and Tehran, which erupted on June 13th when Israel launched an attack on Iranian nuclear and military facilities.

On June 22nd, Trump announced that the U.S. Air Force had attacked three nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic, prompting Tehran to attack the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar and exchange attacks with Israel.

This week, Ron Dermer, Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs and a key adviser to Netanyahu, traveled to Washington for talks on Iran and Gaza with senior Trump administration officials.

On the other hand, the U.S. president recently assured that he would reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, where he described the situation there as "terrible."
