"They wanted to fill Venezuela with violence and chaos so there wouldn't be elections, but there was peace," asserted President Nicolás Maduro.
Caracas, May 30 (RHC)-- Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has denounced that behind the terrorist attempts that sought to create chaos during last Sunday's elections were the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, Venezuelan far-right opposition leaders María Corina Machado and Leopoldo López, and other fascists.
The Venezuelan leader's statements were made on La Lucha Boulevard in the Leoncio Martínez parish, where he emphasized: "Behind all of this is a single person, the person who may have the most hatred in their soul," referring to the far-right leader María Corina Machado.
He also explained that, as part of a moral degradation where they not only practice "the corruption of stealing with both hands," they deposit bills, describing the means they use to finance terrorist attempts.
"La Fórmula, a Bukele foundation where he steals a lot, from that foundation to Leopoldo López, from him to the NGOs that supposedly defend human rights, and from there to the direct phone line to the account of Tequeño Crudo (Venezuelan terrorist Juan Pablo Guanipa)."
Offering more details about the dismantling of the terrorist attempts, he explained that Venezuelan Interior and Justice Minister Diosdado Cabello showed "10 percent of the evidence available." He showed, in the handwriting of Juan Pablo Guanipa, of Tequeño Crudo, how he planned the elimination of the leaders of all the parties of the Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole (GPPSB), how they planned the attack on several embassies, including those of the United Nations (UN) and Colombia.
"These people are not politicians, no, because anyone who was thinking of killing a leader or anyone with an attack is not a politician, they are a criminal, they are a terrorist," he emphasized.
Meanwhile, the Venezuelan president specified that "60 attacks against the country's refineries and oil facilities" were dismantled. "It was the devil unleashed, but thanks to strategic, police, popular, and military intelligence, and the actions of the DGCIM police of the SEBIN," he said, "we were able to capture more than 70 of the conspirators, along with their leaders, their plans, and the complete evidence. We were also able to recover their grenades and explosives."
Meanwhile, he emphasized that although progress has been made in gathering evidence, "the search process is still in full swing."
"They wanted to fill Venezuela with violence and chaos so there wouldn't be elections, but there was peace, there were elections, and stability, life, and tranquility triumphed in Venezuela," he emphasized.
