Cuba and Portugal celebrate 104 years of diplomatic relations
Havana, May 6 (RHC) The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs celebrates today the 104th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Portugal.
Through its Twitter account, the Cuban Foreign Ministry reiterated the will to continue expanding the friendship and cooperation relations between both peoples and nations.
Havana and Lisbon have historically maintained close ties, which extend to various areas such as health, in which they recently signed a memorandum of understanding to promote medical and biopharmaceutical cooperation.
The Portuguese nation supports Cuba every year in the United Nations and other forums in its condemnation of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States. (Source: Prensa Latina)
