Cuba reiterates call for peace and justice in Palestine
Havana, March 30 (RHC) -- The Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez, reiterated this Saturday, Palestinian Land Day, the island’s firm commitment with the Palestinian people.
On his X account, Rodríguez denounced that a genocide is perpetuated in Palestinian territory and the population continues to lose their lands.
More than 30,000 people, including 13,000 children, have died since last October 7 as a result of Israel's aggression against the Gaza Strip, despite the international demand for an immediate ceasefire.
On October 25, the United Nations Security Council approved, with the abstention of the United States, a resolution to stop the Israeli genocide during the month of Ramadan and allow the arrival of humanitarian aid. However, the attacks of the Zionist army do not stop.
Cuba advocates for peace in those territories on the basis of the creation of two States, which allows the people of Palestine to exercise their right to self-determination and have an independent and sovereign country within the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. (Source: PL)
