Washington, Jun 23 (PL) Argentine coach Diego Pablo Simeone ratified his confidence that Atlético de Madrid will advance today to the round of 16 of the World Club Soccer Championship.

The task looks complicated for the Spanish team, as they must defeat the reigning Copa Libertadores champions, Botafogo of Brazil, who also come from beating the European Champions League winners, Paris Saint-Germain of France.

However, 'Cholo' reiterated that he believes in his players and is confident that they can do the job.

"The argument I have is that I believe in my players, I know they can do it. Win and things will happen," he said at the press conference before the matchday three game.
