Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez condemned the terrorist attack on Friday at a gas station in Georgetown, the capital of Guyana, which resulted in the death of a minor.
On his social media account, Cuba´s top diplomat sent condolences to the Guyanese government and people and denounced terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
Local media reported that investigations indicate a criminal gang detonated the explosive near the gas station, killing a six-year-old girl who was in a vehicle with her family.
To date, nine people have been arrested, and investigators still do not know the motives behind the attack that shocked the country.
Guyana President Irfaan Ali called the crime terrorism and stated that it was an attempt to sow fear and chaos and create tension.
