Cuba condemns Israeli interference in Palestine

by Ed Newman

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez has once again condemned the political practices of the Israeli government in the West Bank, which he described as annexationist and a violation of the rights of the Palestinian people.

“We reject Israel’s policies of annexation and the construction of new settlements in the West Bank,” the Cuban foreign minister stated in a message on X.

According to Cuba’s top diplomat, Israeli authorities “violate International Law and disregard resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly.”

“These measures threaten the exercise of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people,” Bruno Rodríguez emphasized.

He also noted that Israel intends “to prevent the recognition of an independent Palestinian state” and undermines “efforts for peace in the Middle East.”

The Cuban Revolution has historically stood on the side of the Palestinian people’s struggle for sovereignty and self-determination.  Cuba has always strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s genocidal aggression and ethnic cleansing in Gaza and the illegally occupied Palestinian territories.  The two revolutionary processes of Cuba and Palestine are inseparable!
