Havana, February 15 (RHC) – Inter Milan beat Juventus 3-2 and reached 61 points to increase their lead at the top of Serie A, the top competition in Italian football.
In a thrilling match at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium, a goal from Polish striker Piotr Zielinski in the 90th minute secured the victory for Inter Milan, who remain top of the table with 20 wins, one draw, and four losses.
Andrea Cambiaso opened the scoring for the home side in the 17th minute, netting an own goal, and then equalized for Juventus in the 26th minute. In the second half, Francesco Esposito put Inter ahead in the 76th minute, and Manuel Locatelli briefly leveled the score in the 83rd minute despite being down to ten men.
The hosts found the winning goal with an unstoppable left-footed strike from Zielinski in the 90th minute, and the team is now ready for their trip to Norway for the Champions League playoffs.
