Several of the athletes registered by Cuba are leading their respective weight classes in this regard. These include Jonathan Charón (60 kg), Orlando Polanco (66 kg), Iván Silva (100 kg), Andy Granda (+100 kg), and Maylín del Toro (63 kg).

Similarly, others are in advanced positions, such as Lianet Cardona (78 kg), second in her category behind Colombian Brenda Olaya; Dayanara Curbelo (+78 kg), currently third in her weight class, has high hopes of winning the Cup.

Yainet Coronado (48 kg), Dali Sentmanat (52 kg), Lian Benavides (57 kg), Anisleydis Ur (70 kg), and Eliannis Aguilar (+78 kg) complete the women’s team.
