Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla expressed his gratitude, via his social media account, for the international support for Cuba and the rejection of the aggressive escalation by the United States government against the island.
“We thank the governments, political parties, parliamentarians, intellectuals, unions, political and social organizations, representatives of civil society from various nations, solidarity movements, and Cubans residing abroad, who have denounced and rejected the most recent threats of intervention and military aggression by the U.S. government against Cuba.”
And Bruno Rodriguez added: “We recognize your solidarity and support in the face of the current siege that seeks to suffocate our people.”
In recent days, following the signing of a new executive order by the US president that intensifies the blockade in an unprecedented way, and the open declarations of military aggression against the Island, the international reaction has been notable, as another irrefutable sign that Cuba is not alone.
