Various solidarity groups are calling for a rally in front of the Cuban Embassy in Madrid next Sunday, May 17, at 1:00 p.m., to protest the policy of aggression and economic blockade imposed by the United States against the island.
The demonstration will take place at Paseo de La Habana 194 and is part of the international campaign in support of the Cuban people under the hashtags #LetCubaLive and #NoWarOnCuba.
The poster for the rally celebrates the resistance and dignity of the Cuban people, with a quote that reads: “They can wipe our people off the face of the earth, but they will never be able to defeat them.”
The organizing groups call on the citizens of Madrid and solidarity movements to participate in this action in support of Cuba and to denounce the impact of the economic, commercial and financial blockade suffered by the country.
