New container with 3.7 million syringes and needles boosts healthcare in Santiago de Cuba

On Monday, May 11th, the seventh container of medical aid for 2026 was loaded from the Community of Madrid, destined for the healthcare network in Santiago de Cuba.

This shipment consists of 57 pallets containing 900,000 syringes and 2,800,000 hypodermic needles, valued at €200,000.

The donation was made by Cartronic Memory to SODePAZ – Medicuba Spain, while the freight was paid by Medicuba Europe.

A second container with the remaining aid is scheduled to arrive at the end of May.
