by Javier Perez Jimenez

Havana, October 27 (RHC) – The Milwaukee Brewers will seek to sweep the Tampa Bay Rays today and win the World Series title of American professional baseball (MLB).

Pat Murphy’s team will try to secure their fourth win of the MLB World Series on Tuesday to clinch the franchise’s first-ever World Series title.

In Game 3, played the previous day at Tropicana Field in Tampa, the visitors defeated Milwaukee 10-1. The win went to starter Robert Gasser, who pitched six innings, striking out three, walking one, and allowing just one hit.

Freddy Peralta took the loss, surrendering five earned runs in four and two-thirds innings, giving up seven hits, striking out four, and walking three.

Venezuelan Jackson Chourio led Milwaukee’s offense with four hits in five at-bats; he also scored twice and drove in one run.

For Tampa, the standout hitter was Cuban Yandy Díaz, who went 2-for-4 with an RBI double that brought in his team’s only run of the game.

After a successful season, the Brewers are on the verge of winning their first title in Big League history, while the Rays will be looking for a victory to keep their World Series hopes alive.
