Lies After Lies from the Mythomaniac Rubio

The constant lies of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio have become a pathological habit.  He relentlessly deceives the international community with his uncontrollable mythomania.

At times, his statements are so blatant that they even make his convicted pedophile president, Donald Trump, look bad.  Trump has repeatedly stated that the Cuban government will surrender due to the complete lack of oil, which will not reach them by any means.

Following Washington’s military attack on Venezuela on January 3 and the kidnapping of its legitimate president, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, Cilia Flores, the White House occupant announced on January 13, in a social media post, that “no more oil or money” would be sent to Cuba. He then asserted that Mexico would cease supplying hydrocarbons to the island under the same threat of hefty tariffs.

On January 29, he signed an Executive Order imposing tariffs on countries that sell crude oil to Cuba, deeming it an “exceptional threat” to U.S. national security.

In practice, the decree forces Cuba’s trading partners to choose between trading with the United States or with Havana.

Then, on February 3, he asserted that Mexico would cease supplying oil to Cuba under the threat of imposing substantial tariffs.

To further intensify the blockade, on May 1st he signed another Executive Order establishing secondary forms of extortion, euphemistically called “sanctions,” in the energy and other sectors.

This intimidates and threatens all suppliers of fuel, goods, loans, financing, and trade, representing yet another flagrant violation of free trade and freedom of navigation.

All this perversity has resulted in only one fuel shipment from Russia reaching the island in four months, with the consequent disruptions to transportation, electricity, public health, education, industrial production, and agriculture.

And despite these inhumane actions, the pathological liar Rubio, in a White House press conference, unfazed and contrary to Trump’s constant and aggressive statements regarding the Cuban government, asserted that “there is no oil blockade on Cuba,” attributing the energy crisis to the Cuban government’s mismanagement and the end of subsidized fuel supplies from Venezuela.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel-Bermúdez immediately refuted Rubio’s words on his Twitter account, stating:

“It is surprising that a high-ranking U.S. government official publicly declares that his government is not applying an energy blockade against Cuba, seemingly unaware of the stipulations in his own president’s Executive Order of January 29th. It is surprising that he hasn’t heard his president and the White House press secretary address the issue. It is equally surprising that he blames the supposed incompetence of Cubans for the difficulties facing the economy, which the U.S. government itself has set out to destroy, and continues to do so, investing vast resources and political capital to achieve this.”

And indeed, Rubio, the uncontrollable mythomaniac, has to lie even if it means contradicting his equally lying, narcissistic, and pedophilic president.

Rubio recently lied to a Miami court, claiming he was unaware of the shady dealings his close friend and former congressman David Rivera had orchestrated to steal millions of dollars from the Venezuelan oil company Citgo.

The friendship between Rubio and Rivera began in 1992 when they both supported the campaign of right-wing politician Lincoln Díaz-Balard for Miami-Dade County.

Their close relationship led Rubio to purchase a three-bedroom house in Tallahassee, where they lived together for a time, a house that became a symbol of their politically problematic friendship.

In 2017, Rivera sought a $50 million contract with Citgo to facilitate a peaceful transfer of power between the Venezuelan government of Nicolás Maduro and the United States.

Rubio, who was a Federal Senator at the time, testified in court that he was unaware that Rivera had a $50 million consulting contract with a U.S. subsidiary of the Venezuelan state oil company for the aforementioned purposes.

However, he also testified, according to the EFE news agency, that he met twice with Rivera and with businessman Raúl Gorrín, owner of Globovisión and alleged intermediary with the Maduro government, who claimed that the Venezuelan president would send a letter for those purposes.

The current secretary of state said at the hearing that the second meeting Gorrín attended at a Washington hotel was “a waste of time” because there was no letter of commitment from Maduro, which he was supposedly going to deliver to Trump.

Thus, amidst lies and more lies, this individual who has risen to such a high position wants to surpass the Satan of the Bible, who in the verse JOHN 8:44-46 says: “Your father is the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. The devil was a murderer and a liar, and he speaks lies. That is why you cannot believe that I am telling the truth.”
