Over the past 50 days, the Israeli occupation army violated the ceasefire agreement established on October 10th in the Gaza Strip 591 times, leaving 357 people killed, 903 wounded, and 38 Palestinians kidnapped, according to reports from the Gaza Government Media Office.
The organization reported that Zionist forces raided residential areas beyond the “yellow line,” carried out 280 bombings against the Palestinian enclave, and demolished 118 properties. It also denounced the commission of war crimes against civilians.
“These violations constitute a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the humanitarian protocol attached to the agreement,” the Office emphasized. The entity denounced the blocking of vital humanitarian aid and the destruction of infrastructure throughout the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian authorities reported that the most recent attack carried out by Israeli forces occurred last Saturday, when the Zionist regime attacked the city of Bani Suheila with drones, beyond the so-called “yellow line,” east of Khan Yunis, in southern Gaza, leaving two children dead.
Despite the declared ceasefire, Israeli forces maintain control over 54 percent of the Gaza Strip. Troops have withdrawn to the so-called “yellow line,” an imaginary strip separating Israeli forces from certain areas of Gaza, from where they continue to fire almost daily on the Palestinian population, under the pretext that they are They are getting too close to the military positions.
“The humanitarian situation in Gaza is deteriorating at an unprecedented rate, and the Israeli aggression has destroyed essential infrastructure and services,” Ismail al-Thawabta, Director of the Gaza Government Media Office, emphasized last Friday.
The Press Office warned that the remaining habitable areas are constantly shrinking, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis. Local authorities noted that the Israeli army has repositioned its forces inside Gaza territory, in direct violation of the agreed humanitarian protocol.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that more than 70,100 Palestinians have been killed since the beginning of the genocide in October 2013.
