Moscow 2025 Rowing Regatta

Havana, Jun 9 (JIT) - The quarter formed by Leuder Suarez, Roberto Carlos Paz, Henry Joan Heredia, and Adel Gutierrez won the silver medal at the XX Moscow 2025 Great Rowing Regatta.

Despite competing in the senior category, these U-23 exponents achieved an impressive performance, placed only after the hosts.

The president of the Cuban Rowing Federation, Ángel Luis García, highlighted the team's effort and expressed his confidence in a good performance at the Asunción 2025 Junior Pan American Games.

He also noted that other Cuban representatives such as Pedro Antonio González, Ana Laura Jiménez, and Natalie Morales also participated in the competition.

This regatta made it possible for coach Joan Manuel Paula to value the performance of the Cubans, committed to the podium in the Paraguayan capital.

In addition to Cuba and Russia, teams from the United States, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Australia, and Brazil competed.

The competition, held on the emblematic Moscow River, is famous for its intense competition and festive atmosphere.
