
Casa de las Américas will host Cultural Diversity in the Caribbean International Colloquium
Havana, May 14 (RHC) Casa de las Américas announced on Tuesday the upcoming tenth International Colloquium on Cultural Diversity in the Caribbean, which will take place from May 19 to 23 at its headquarters in Havana.
Under the premise of decolonizing the Caribbean through archives, the core of the discussion will revolve around the importance of archives in the regional intellectual landscape and their impact on cultural endeavors.
The purpose of the event is to foster the holistic development of researchers, providing them with the necessary skills to actively engage in the creation and preservation of archives, both traditional and innovative.
The program will feature lectures, panel discussions, film screenings, and book launches, and will be accessible through Casa de las Américas' social media platforms.
