Havana, Jun 13 (RHC) - The Cuban Wrestling Federation confirmed the celebration of the All-Star Tournament, to be held at the Coliseum of the Ciudad Deportiva (Sports City) in Havana, Cuba, from June 16 to 18.

Manuel Rodríguez, methodologist of the national commission, explained that this event will serve as a substitute for the national championship, which was suspended due to problems in the transportation of athletes.

It is foreseen that on the 16th the girls will go to the mat, one day later the representatives of the Greco-Roman style will do it, and on the 18th the men of the free style will close the actions.

Rodriguez also commented that most of the members of the three national squads will participate, some from the sports reserve and others with big posibilities who are closely followed in the provinces.

The opportunity will also be propitious to observe the sporting condition of the qualified figures for the Junior Pan American Games of Asuncion 2025, next August.

Among that group appears the star of Granma, Yainelis Sanz (57 kg), undefeated in 12 bouts so far this year and winner in three successive international events.
