Havana, Mar 9 (RHC) Parliamentary candidates to the 10th Legislature of Cuba´s National Assembly of People's Power (Parliament) continue touring several territories of the country as a sign of participatory democracy.

For the fifth consecutive week, the nominees from the Havana municipality of Arroyo Naranjo, led by Parliament President Esteban Lazo, have met with managers and workers from the educational system in the territory.

Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdes visited centers of economic and social interest in the Güines municipality, in the western province of Mayabeque.

There, he met with workers at the Nucay Rum factory and the Garment Workshop of that municipality, as well as workers from two local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The candidates will tour the territories where they were nominated until March 24 to learn about people’s concerns and the regions’ potentialities. Elections are scheduled for March 26. (Source: Prensa Latina)
