Palace and West Ham Draw in Mid-table clash in English Football

by Javier Perez Jimenez

Havana, April 20 (RHC) – Crystal Palace and West Ham drew 0-0 today in the 33rd round of the English Premier League.

Crystal Palace, stuck in 13th place in the English league, failed to capitalize on their home advantage at Selhurst Park to secure three points and continue their poor run of form after a defeat in their previous match.

In the seventh minute, the home side’s center forward, Jorge Strand Larsen, had a chance to open the scoring with a right-footed shot from the edge of the box, but his effort went wide.

In the minutes that followed, West Ham began attacking Dean Henderson’s goal with shots from their forwards, but none found the net.

In the second half, with the score still 0-0, both teams began taking more risks in search of a goal.

Following the draw, West Ham finished the matchday in 17th place with 33 points and will face Everton next Saturday in Matchday 34 of the Premier League, while Crystal Palace will travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool.
