Guantanamo: National Baseball 5 Champions

Havana, May 31 (RHC) The host team of Guantanamo comfortably beat Havana 2-0 (Ko 13x2, 3x1) and retained the title in the 5th National Baseball5 Championship.

Last season, the Guantanamo team had broken Havana's dominance of three successive titles as visitors at the Sports City Coliseum. Now they already have two, and this last one at home, to the delight of their fans.

In addition, in the duel between the two in the regular phase, Havana had won 2-0. However, it is worth noting that in this second crown of the indomitable quintet there was "some luck".

The Guantánamo team did not qualify in the official zone for this final, and since it was going to host the tournament, it received a special invitation.

But, as they say in the sports environment, "the good team knew how to win" with its stronger hits and better defense of the small ball used in this dynamic baseball modality.
