
Cuba and Zimbabwe review parliamentary relations
Havana, June 7 (RHC) The Cuban Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Susellys Pérez Mesa, met with the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of the African country, Shamu Webster Kotiwani, to discuss the bilateral relations between the legislative bodies of both countries.
Pérez Mesa and Kotiwani, who is also the head of the Friendship Group with Cuba, discussed the progress on the matters discussed during the visit to Harare in March by the president of the Cuban National Assembly, Esteban Lazo Hernández.
Both officials discussed proposals aimed at enhancing the parliamentary friendship groups and addressing the current unilateral coercive measures imposed on their countries.
They also discussed the organization, operation, and the latest updates in both legislative bodies. (Source: Prensa Latina)
