Washington, August 29 (RHC)-- The Washington Post is reporting President Donald Trump has ordered his staff to speed up the construction of his border wall before the 2020 election — even if it means breaking the law.

Trump reportedly told aides he will pardon them if they face any legal repercussions related to the request, which could including seizing private land, expediting billions of dollars of construction contracts and ignoring environmental regulations.

According to the Washington Post story, Trump dismissed concerns over the implications of circumventing appropriate procedures, including by using eminent domain, telling staffers to just “take the land.”
