Washington, November 13 (RHC)-- In the U.S., on Capitol Hill, televised impeachment hearings began Wednesday in the inquiry into whether President Trump withheld military aid from Ukraine to pressure the Ukrainian president to investigate his political rival Joe Biden and his son.

According to reports from the U.S. capital, this is only the third time in U.S. history there have been live, televised impeachment hearings.  On Wednesday, the first two witnesses to testify were George Kent, a deputy assistant secretary of state, and Bill Taylor, a former ambassador and the top U.S. diplomat in Ukraine.
