The Cuban mission said that last April 30th, the U.S. State Department published its annual report on the issue, insisting on the absurd inclusion of Cuba for 32 occasions.
Cuba's ambassador at the UN, Rodolfo Reyes, expressed Havana's strong rejection of Washington's manipulation of such a sensitive issue regarding international terrorism.
Reyes also asked UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to circulate as soon as possible the documents that state Cuba's position on the most recent U.S. action under Subject 110 of the UN National Assembly entitled “Measure to Eliminate International Terrorism.”
Cuba reiterated its demand that the United States cease unilateral actions against the island and respect international law and the principles and objectives of the UN Charter.
Ambassador Reyes made it clear that Cuban territory has never been used, nor will it ever be used, to harbor terrorists or to organize, finance or perpetrate terrorist acts against other countries, including the United States.
