Pakistani parliament speaker to lead delegation to Cuba

Islamabad, Nov 1, (RHC), – Pakistan's National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq is set to undertake a six day official visit to Cuba, on the invitation of his Cuban counterpart, The Business Recorder reports.

During his stay in Havana the Speaker would meet his Cuban counterpart, leaders of the political hierarchy and parliamentarians, to discuss ways and means to strengthen bilateral parliamentary and economic cooperation.

The Speaker and his delegations will also interact with Pakistani expatriates and local business community for further enhancing bilateral relation and cooperation in trade, educational, cultural and investment sectors between Pakistan and Cuba.

The Speaker would be accompanied by a parliamentary delegation in his stay in Cuba, where he is set to arrive after a three-day stay in Spain for similar motives.

The delegation accompanying Speaker National Assembly during his visit to Cuba comprises MPs; Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani and Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari.
